Monday Trip 13 - From Weltenburg to Kelheim by boat

Questions for you before the Mondaytrip follows:
I have countless vacation photos of rolls of film on paper.
Now I want to scan the photos and I need to buy a scanner.

What have you done for experience with scanners? What scanner do you use?

From Weltenburg we went back by boat to Kelheim.
The special feature of this trip is the Donaudurchbruch, the rock walls (limestone) up to 80m high and they are very popular with rock climbers.
The limestone formations have names such as Three warring brothers ... Robber rocks ... Bishop's cap ... Napoleon's suitcase.

Have a look at Menthe Blanche and Alex la marguerite and their Monday Trip.

  4. Oh, I left a comment earlier but there was a bug when I validated the message ... So I start it again!
This valley is very beautiful, it must be nice to spend time in this place. On the eleventh picture, I think I recognize the great monument round that you had posted in a previous Monday Trip, right?
My favorite photos are: 2, 3 and 9.

  5. Can't help you with the scanner question, no idea. I have many photos on slides - which I took when slides were already obsolete, but ... who knows why!

  9. @Pascale
You do not have a scanner? You capture but with roll film, right? And as you save the photos on your computer?

  11. My printer has a scanner. Its not the best though.
I usually shoot on digital. I've tried polaroid, but never scanned it in...
And your shots are lovely. The soft glowy quality that film has, and digital lacks, is so clear in them...
